A statement regarding Covid-19
Sadly, due to recent difficulties meeting in-person due to Covid-19, nearly all ecstatic poetry workshops and events have been cancelled. I am very excited to begin again in the coming months, offering new opportunities to learn about ecstatic poetry together.
In 2020, I really turned inward. Near the beginning of the pandemic, I published my most recent book, “This is Not My Kingdom.” It was a huge labor of love. I began thinking about an online/virtual course in ecstatic poetry. I laid some good groundwork for that course, although it’s not quite time for it just yet. I then turned my attention again towards writing, but this time, it was scholarly writing. I’m elated to report that my article “The Practice and Path of Ecstatic Poetry” has recently been published in the Journal of Transpersonal Psychology. You can read the article in its entirety here.
